A useful kitchen reset is less about filling every cabinet and more about making the things you use easiest to reach.
Build simple zones
Keep preparation tools near a clear work surface, cooking tools close to the hob and everyday plates near the drying area. Grouping related items reduces unnecessary movement.
Give ingredients a visible home
Use labelled containers or a rotating rack for frequently used dry ingredients and spices. Store less-used items higher or farther back so the active zone stays calm.
Choose tools that earn their space
Before buying a new gadget, decide where it will be stored and how often it will be used. Multi-purpose and stackable tools can be especially helpful in a compact room.
Finish with a five-minute reset
Return tools, wipe the preparation area and empty the drying rack at the end of the day.
